Dear Friend,

It is so exciting to look back and see what God has done in the past 8 years. It has been a privilege to be a part of what He is doing at Calvary Chapel Kendall and in our city. Since the start of CCk in January of 2000, we have seen hundreds of people come to know the Lord. What an amazing God we serve! In 2007 alone, we saw 600 people make commitments to Christ… all this without as much as an exterior sign letting passers-by know we are here!

With the addition of so many new people throughout the years, we have constantly been led to seek additional meeting space, in a variety of different locations. Here we are again, at that all too familiar place. A church with a need to expand in order to accommodate new believers that God is bringing and seasoned believers that call CCk home. No doubt that this is a great problem to have. Despite diligent efforts to address our space challenges, we are still currently in need of additional children’s ministry space, office space and meeting/fellowship spaces for our services and various ministries.

With a deep desire to see our city impacted by Christ, we have prayerfully embarked in the BuildingLife project. The purpose of this BuildingLife website is to keep you informed with the most up to date information as well as have you prayerfully consider and commit to becoming a part of the awesome work God has for the body at CCk.

The vision of this church has never changed and, make no mistake about it, this project isn’t about building buildings, it is about building people. We are about bringing people to LIFE in Christ and then equipping them to live their LIFE for Christ. Our desire is to make disciples that would, in turn, impact the entire city with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. We will be posting updates soon regarding Calvary Chapel Kendall’s BuildingLife project. Stay tuned!
